The studio in run by Eduard Parma Jnr , who comes from a musical family. His father was a successful bandleader in Prague in the 60 ´s and he introduced the dance TWIST in Prague . Also he composed for big bands like Karel Vlach or Karel Krautgarter , later recorded tens of compositions for Studio Brno , lot of these recordings were performed worldwide especially in the USA . Eduard ´s brother Jindrich Parma is a renowned hitmaker whose songs like "Pražský Haus", "Milujem se čím dál víc" or " Mumuland" is well known to the whole population of Czech Republic .
Eduard Parma Jnr. is a producer, arranger and composer of music . He finished studies at the Conservatory of Prague in 1974 . His career started as bassplayer in Petr Spálený ´s band Apollobeat , and recorded about 10 albums with them . Also played on " Edison " - a progressive album created by Peter´s brother Jan Spálený . Then for four years worked as bandleader with singer Jiří Korn. They toured Poland, Russia, Germany and France and in Ireland at the Cavan International Song Contest in 1979 , they won 4 prizes including Best pop song with "You ´ re My Voodoo " .
Also he has 10 year ´s experience of recording music in London, where he worked and lived in the 80 ´s. In 1982 he won The New Talent Spot on Capital Radio in London hosted by Lynsey de Paul with his own song "King Kong in Hong Kong " that later became his single . He was running his own recording studio named Soul Kitchen and he worked with people like Edwin Starr a U.S. soul singer , The Beatmasters successful dance act , Adamski , Osibisa , Phil Fearon, Jimmy Ross - to name a few , made music for TV commercials for a company called Commercial Music , where at that time new sampling technology was being used a lot . And later he created his own act Cutmaster and M.C.Groove , whose single " Rip it off, Girls " was successfully introduced on Peter Watermann ´s The Hitman and Her TV show . Also being a former bass player, he performed in the famous Marquee Club in London with the band he produced - Times Square , being probably the only Czech to have played at this famous venue . On WEA label he co-produced a single together with Charles Nelson "Get a Job " a successful cover of the 50 s song. Also producen an album for a Nigerian singer Al Diamond . And another Nigerian artist Ben Emovon actually created the name SOKIT of two words Soul Kitchen ( borrowed from a song by the Doors ). In 1990 arranged a musical My Train in Salzburg - Austria for Američan composer Tom Preston.
In 1991 the studio moved to Prague, Czech republic and these projects have been accomplished here
